La Cina nel tempo svilupp\u00f2 un suo DPV per subacqueo singolo, basato su un corpo torpedine leggero con serbatoi di zavorra esterni e semplici comandi sul manubrio nella parte anteriore. A similitudine dei mezzi russi, il sommozzatore giaceva al di sopra del mezzo, avvalendosi di una strumentazione minima. La piattaforma consente il trasporto di un terzo operatore o un carico utile maggiore a bassa velocit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 18pt;\">SDV<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Le fonti internazionali riportano la costruzione di un midget nel 1980-82 presso il cantiere navale di Wuhan, somigliante, almeno esternamente, al design italiano <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Cos.Mo.S SX404<\/span><\/strong>. Il mezzo\u00a0 avrebbe potuto forse rilasciare i SOF tramite i tubi a siluro. Un&#8217;ipotesi potrebbe anche essere che si trattino di alloggiamenti per una nuova classe di UUV (mezzi subacquei senza pilota). Ci si domanda da chi i Cinesi potrebbero acquistare questi SDV.
