Le stelle pi\u00f9 luminose della costellazione, <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Antares<\/span><\/strong> e <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Shaula<\/span><\/strong>, sono tra le stelle pi\u00f9 luminose del cielo. Raffigurato come il mitico guaritore Asclepio che regge un serpente &#8211; rappresentato dalla costellazione <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Serpens &#8211; Ophiuchus<\/span><\/strong>, questa costellazione \u00e8 la patria di molte stelle interessanti e oggetti stellari. <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Rasalhague<\/span><\/strong>, la stella pi\u00f9 luminosa della costellazione, segna la testa del guaritore. La <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Stella di Barnard<\/span><\/strong>, la quarta stella pi\u00f9 vicina al Sole, dopo le tre stelle nell&#8217;Alfa Centauri, \u00e8 a soli 5,96 anni luce di distanza, ma \u00e8 invisibile a occhio nudo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-33141\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Ophiuchus-constellation-map.gif.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Ophiuchus-constellation-map.gif.png 1000w, https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Ophiuchus-constellation-map.gif-257x300.png 257w, https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Ophiuchus-constellation-map.gif-768x896.png 768w, https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Ophiuchus-constellation-map.gif-877x1024.png 877w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Ofiuco<\/span><\/strong> ospita anche la <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Nebulosa Twin Jet<\/span><\/strong> (la Farfalla di Minkowski) e le grandi nebulose oscure Barnard 68 e la Nebulosa Cavallo Oscuro, che comprende la Nebulosa Pipa e la Nebulosa Serpente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_33142\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-33142\" style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33142\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ocean4future.org\/savetheocean\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/img800-hubble-immortala-le-ali-di-farfalla-della-nebulosa-twin-jet-71186.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"493\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-33142\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Nebulosa Twin Jet immortalata dal telescopio Hubble<\/span><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Ofiuco<\/span><\/strong> \u00e8 diviso in due parti: Serpens Caput (la testa del serpente) e Serpens Cauda (la coda del serpente). Nonostante le sue dimensioni relativamente grandi, Serpente \u00e8 una costellazione piuttosto debole. Vi si trova anche la supernova di Keplero.
